Fighting through the pain

Ever since I ran the Ragnar relay last September, I hurt my foot. It has been a struggle to get any workouts in. Been to the doctors a few times. Had to wear a boot for 2 weeks. The foot is slowly getting better. I have been walking to keep up my cardio. But I did it today, I was able to run 1 mile. I did it at a 12 min mile. It was less painful running then walking. But I'm not going to push it. Going to run every other day. I want to be able to run again and don't want to injury myself even more.

I have my goal set for my running. In May I'm going to be running a half marathon. I'm so excited. It's going to be the furthest I ever run. Come back and see my progress. I hope this will be a great working out year. Peace out my friends

  1. This is awesome! But yeah, be careful. It's so hard to know when to give it a rest and when to push through. What date is your race?

  2. The funny thing is it hurts more to walk then it does to run. I start physical therapy on the 7th
